The Internet Fantasy Soccer Trade Conference will focus on management, technology and marketing for the fantasy sports industry. According to an August 2006 Stats LLC report, fantasy sports is now a USD $1.65 billion industry. It is a meteoric rise from three years ago, when rotisserie leagues and fantasy baseball represented the majority of player interest. Today, fantasy football has become the dominant game of choice among consumers. With the emergence of fantasy NFL, CBS SportsLine, Fox Sports, ESPN and others offer real time player scoring, further increasing interest. Recently, the NBA began fantasy NBA basketball. Other fantasy sport leagues are emerging, such as: fantasy NASCAR, fantasy wrestling and fantasy sport fishing. In addition, a CNN report indicates that the average player spends about USD $500-600 each year on their league, plus an additional USD $150 on player and team information.
With major media and Fortune 1000 companies involved in the fantasy sports business, we have decided to design a Internet Fantasy Soccer Trade Conference as a two day executive Trade Conference that will discuss the following topics:
